Bethany Hawke in her "Hawke's Pinions" outfit from Dragon Age II. Model extracted and converted for XNALara/XPS by me.
Features: bones renamed for easier posing, t-posed, updated facial diffuse map, hi-res normal and specular maps.
NOTES: Model extracted from scratch from the DA2 files. The updated textures also ensure compatibility with the latest versions of XPS (10.9.3)!
Please refrain from using this model in any explicit scene or for outright vulgar poses and gestures (and if you can't refrain then do not credit me at all...).
BTW, this is Bethany as she appears in Act 1, not Varric's exaggerated prologue...
PICTURE CREDITS: Preview picture made by me in XNALara and edited in Paint.NET using the following additional model: - Bethany staff extracted by me [to be released] - DMC4 Bridge by SumireHaikuXNA [link] (DMC4 and its assets belong to Capcom)
DISCLAIMER: I hold no rights over the objects extracted. Dragon Age 2 and all the objects extracted belong to Bioware and EA. Remember to credit these companies if you use this model!
Good point about mage robes... I didn't like their look and the one time I played as a mage I've been using almost exclusively the Free Adept Robes, then the Robe of the Notorious Pirate until I acquired the Champion mage outfit!
Don't worry, take your time, I'm sure you'll find an interesting idea! Or maybe you could picture Beth kicking badly a Darkspawn Ogre, as a sort of "payback" after what happens/could happen to her in the intro! Anyway, I'm sure whatever idea you'll come up with it will be nice!
The ogre download is a RAR file, when I put this in the data file it didn't show up as a model to add in XPS, even after I tried putting it into a folder....I can't work out how to use this file or any of the other RAR files I've got. There have been random instances of these files attaching themselves as addendums to other files so I could use those, but it was accidental luck. Mostly RAR files are a mystery to me. Please could you help me to understand the problem?
But why the hell Bioware never use this style of outfits for mage instead of the awful mage robes in DAII... ?

Haven't got any ideas though...any suggestions as a starting point?
