Whichever was the end of the Reaper War (destroy, control, synthesis) according to your experience, I assume the Alliance brass had the urgent need to replenish the ranks of a badly depleted military at that point. In the absence of Shepard him/herself who is better than Ashley Williams, a living hero who fought the Reapers next to the legendary Commander (and who also happens to be a Spectre herself) as the testimonial for a new recruitment campaign for the armed forces of the Alliance?

I'm not sure Ashley would like to be enrolled as a testimonial, but she knows her duty well enough and I assume she'd play her part for the good of the Alliance... :)

NOTES:
- Added the logo of the Alliance Marines on Ashley's armor. She might be a Spectre now, but she's always part of the Alliance military. Besides, that looks good for the recruitment campaign...
-Unexpectedly, this picture took an insane amount of time to complete... Posing was relatively easy (albeit I changed my mind at least 3 times!), it was the the poster layout the real "time stealer"... Hope you're going to like the result! :)

Apparently the Council was too busy to issue a new armor to Shepard... :)

Thank you (for the :+fav: too of course)! :D

As for the text on the pic, I'll admit it's a lot of trial and error with Paint.NET. I've played around with layers and effects until I got something looking decent! Guess you can obtain at least the same if you're using Photoshop, Gimp or other similar softwares... Still, I'm glad you think it looks cool, it really repays my efforts! ;)

Never heard of Paint.NET, you think it's worth me getting, I've got GIMP 2.
If so, do you have a link?:)

Well, I think it doesn't make much sense for you to try Paint.NET. Judging from the quality of your works you have already a lot of practice with GIMP and there's nothing that Paint.NET can do which is not also available in GIMP. :)

Thank you, I just don't know how to use GIMP.
Despite what you're seeing 98% of the picture is in XNA, I used a smugde tool and a border, but that's it. I'm just good with lighting, nothing to do with GIMP.
I've never done an actual render per-se(I don't know how to render)that's just what my stuff looks like.

Well, you're doing fine as it is imho! :) Guess I assumed you've been using GIMP in your works because you mentioned this software! :) I found Paint.NET a bit easier than GIMP (albeit maybe less powerful): if you'd like to give it a try here's a link to the download page: [link]

Sorry I've been taking so long to reply, but I always will.
Thank you for your advice, I'll try Paint.NET some time but I taking a break because I really can't use this technology despite what you are seeing. It's fustrating and I can't deal with it anymore.

I'm sorry to hear that, but I understand your need to take a break. Hope to see you uploading something new in the future! :)
